Day 179

Here are some Halloween pics for you. Caleb was Iron Man; Josh was the Joker. Samantha was Hannah Montana and Hannah was a clown. I did have a fun little thing I was going to do, but I can't. I need the scanner and really don't want to figure out how to get is hooked up to my laptop; although, I might have to do that anyway. The PC is now with the Geek Squad. Apparently, I am not computer smart because it failed their tests. The hard drive is slowly going. How a hard drive that is less than 20% full can go....I don't know. Anyway, here are the pics. Keep checking back for my little quiz. It will be guess the kid wearing the clown suit...hint one will be me!

Day 178

Do you see a little froggy??? I wrapped Hannah up in a towel after her bath. While I was getting her clothes and diaper she came in the living room and laid down just like this!

Day 177

Today we actually ate out for lunch. We don't do that often because with 4 kids it adds up. We ate at Katz's Deli. We really like it, but it seems to cost so much. Here is Caleb playing in the subway car photo booth. The last time we ate here Hannah was still eating baby food and didn't car about the car. Today she was driving the car all over the table. It was too funny.

Day 176

I have more than one picture today. The first is of Samantha and Caleb playing in the backyard. After I took the picture Samantha realized she was in the baby swing. She jumped up and told me I just HAD to take another picture. The next on is of some of Josh's tomatoes. If you remember way back when I first started this blog I had a picture of Josh and his garden. He really doesn't have much left of the garden except for the tomatoes. He had A LOT of them too! Just when I thought I was done with taking pictures today. I was sitting down folding laundry (that is why there are clothes on the floor) and Caleb announced he was going to exercise. He started doing sit-ups. He counted too. He would jump up give me a high five and do more. All in all he did abut 50 sit-ups. Then he moved on to push ups. Toooo funny!!!! Wish I had a picture of that one. He did 11 "butt" ups.
***does anyone know if I should be concerned about the tomato plants during a possible freeze? We moved them in tonight, but I would prefer not to if it is not necessary.

Day 175

I think this one is priceless! I thought I already had my picture for today. Tonight before bedtime, the kids were picking up. Caleb's job was to pick up all the letters off the floor. Hannah threw a tantrum and letters were everywhere. Anyway, I look up and see him pushing around a chair. I told him to put it up, I thought he was trying to get a snack. He told me he had one more letter and couldn't reach the top of his L. Well, you can see for yourself! He made an -L- with all the letters! He is very proud of his L...as he should be.

Day 174

Today the kids sang with the Children's Choir at church. They got to sing in all 3 worship services. They did great!

Day 173

Ok, so I know this is not a new photo. Eleven, yes I said 11, years ago today we got married!

Friday, October 24, 2008

Day 172

I actually bought a new toy today. This is rare because we have so many! Over the years all our fridge magnet toys have disappeared...who knows where. This is a toy that both Caleb and Hannah can benefit from. It is one of those Leap Pad letter things. You put the letter in and it tells you what letter it is, then sings a cute little song about the sound that letter makes. It also sings the alphabet. The picture is of Caleb and Hannah dancing and singing to the alphabet song.

Day 171

Samantha has a black eye. In the last two days both of my girls have fallen down the brick stairs of the porch. Hannah, I can understand. Samantha..... Well, she was going out this morning to wait for the bus. I heard screaming and she was face down on the sidewalk. She said she missed the second step and fell. The pictures actually look better than it really is. The bruise was much darker tonight and her eye is kind of puffy. We used to always joke with her because she is child who could be sitting perfectly still at the kitchen table and then BAM be on the floor facedown. If there was a way to fall while laying down she would be the one to do it. LOL Anyway, she is fine. She said her friends asked about her eye, but her teachers didn't.

Day 170

I have two pictures today. The first is a totally random shot. I thought the Josh and Samantha walking down the hall with Hannah was just too darling. If you look closely at the first picture you will see Caleb running toward them. He would run down the hall and back; then down the hall again and back. Well, he didn't like that he wasn't IN the picture despite the fact he was. He grabbed Josh's hand, turned around and told me to take a picture! So, the second picture is just for Caleb.

Day 169

Samantha shows off her story and rainbow fish.

The kids are "buying" stuff at Open House

Day 168

So you would think that the kids do this all the time! I promise they

don't, so if you buy a bed from Marc I assure you my kids don't play on the beds. Tonight we had guitar practice for Josh. Caleb was goofing off and got on the bed to "rest". I took the picture and then he got down. LOL He does have good taste though because it is a high end bed. Not as high end as Josh's favorite though. LOL

Day 167

Here are me and the kids at the Falls on the Brazos. I remember as a kid walking across the falls. I am a mean mommy and wouldn't let my kids walk where the water was. My boys were not happy about this! Can you see the dirt on the kids? Caleb is wearing white socks, I promise! The kids were literally rolling in the dirt all day. Unfortunatly, I was not fast enough with the camera for that pic!

Day 166

Remember these??? Uncle Buster finally graduated from a rotary phone to one of these! LOL

Here is one of Hannah and Caleb eating chili. There was a chili contest, but these two didn't want to wait for the judging, so they dug in before anyone else did.

Day 165

Cookies anyone? Today was baking day, tomorrow we leave for the weekend. We are going to a family reunion in Lott, Texas.
**I will not be updating tomorrow, but Sunday night I will put up Saturday's picture as well as Sunday's.

Thursday, October 16, 2008

Day 164

Man, today I am having a hard time picking a picture! The one I settled on is of Caleb and Hannah's version of Dancing with the Stars.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

Day 163

Josh says I never take his picture for the blog. Here is Josh getting his flu shot. We kinda surprised the kids with this at church tonight. I was told I was mean for not informing them earlier....um, Caleb cried from the moment he knew he was getting one until he realized eating was a few steps away. Can you imagine the dread of knowing for a few hours and the unimaginable ride to church for me! I think it would have been cruel to tell them beforehand!

Monday, October 13, 2008

Day 161

The case of the invisible child! I don't know what happened in this picture. The whole reason I took it was because Hannah looked so cute walking and well. You can't see her in the picture. You can see part of her reflection in the window, but you can't see her in the picture. How odd is that? Caleb is kinda vanishing too....

Sunday, October 12, 2008

Day 160

Ok, as hard as it will be I am going to try to get back to just one picture a day. I took lots today of us just being us. It was fun! The one I picked is of Samantha playing cops and robbers. Could she be any more beautiful?

Saturday, October 11, 2008

Day 159

Today was a crazy busy day. I will blog about that in my other blog . Here is a picture of Caleb letting his balloons go and then pretending to shoot and pop them.

Friday, October 10, 2008

Day 158

Monkey see, monkey do! (Caleb and Hannah at the mall)

Before Caleb's haircut
during... (this is his favorite part!)
during...
After (he still has his curlies)

Thursday, October 9, 2008

Day 157

I have 2 pics today. One is of my helper Josh. He is helping me out by sweeping up after dinner. Can you tell Hannah still likes to throw things off her plate? The other is of my little curly top. Check out his curls!!! We are getting his hair cut tomorrow. Don't worry, it will just be a trim. He says he is going to tell Carmen not to cut his "curlies" because he likes them.

Day 156

Marc got down to play trains with Caleb today.
