Day 594

The day after Christmas we went to my dad's house. It was fun!

I can't explain how this happened, but Grandpa let Hannah open up one of her gifts LONG before anyone else. LOL She can't really say Grandpa, so she calls him "peepa"...she loves her peepa. LOL

These three goof were oblivious to the fact that Hannah just opened a gift...at first.

Poor Caleb watched everyone else open nerf guns. It was the thing he wanted most! He was so excited to finally open his.
This is what Josh wanted most!!! He has wanted one of these for years. It is a remote control car that also drives on walls and ceilings.

Day 593

Merry Christmas!!!! We had a great day!!!! Santa brought Caleb a DS, Josh and Samantha a new Nano, and Hannah a dress up trunk. We just spent the day hanging out as a family!

Day 592

Well, I swore I wouldn't get behind again....not looking so good, BUT this time it is not all my fault. Well, it probably is.... Somehow I managed to delete every single photo off of my computer. This included Christmas Eve and Christmas day. I had already formatted my camera memory card, so I had to try and recover those photos off of that card because the recover I did on the computer didn't save all of them. Anyway....here is Christmas Eve!

This is the kids getting ready to open their gifts to each other. We always do this Christmas Eve because they take time picking out each others gifts and I don't want it to get lost in the craziness of Christmas. I want them to know who got them what.

Today was Caleb's class Christmas party. I so love that little dude!!!!

What was I thinking????? You would think that after last year's fiasco I would have learned my lesson. Nope, I didn't and you will probably see a post similar to this next year. I made yet another attempt to get the perfect picture of all 4 kids for Christmas cards. Let's just say the best shot of all 4 by the tree had a head chopped off and replaced with another. LOL Hannah just doesn't want to be any part of a group picture. Really, she loves photos, but sees the group time as a time to dance, sing, run around, and play ring- a-round- the roses. Here are some of the photos from my attempt this year...no cool montage set to music like last year. This is my favorite!!! My favorite from last year is the banner on Hannah's blog









Sunday 11/29

Day 566

I have had my fill of yard decorations over the years. Honestly you can call me a Bah Humbug about it, but I don't want to have anything to do with it. Every year it starts out with Marc doing the roof lights and swearing he will take care of the yard. Every year he ends up coming in whining that he can't make something work and I end up taking over. This year...not gonna do it!!! I put up the set of trees we bought last year, the rest was not up to me. Marc wanted the kids to get everything organized while he was at work, so that is what they did.

Then here is Hannah's newest favorite spot. This is Caleb's Spider Man tent flipped upside down. She likes sleeping in there...for now.

Day 565

Today we got the Christmas tree up. The kids also got to open their ornaments from Aunt Mary and Uncle Donnie. They love getting the new ornaments every year.

Today we had a Saturday rehearsal at church to get ready for "Celebration"---this is a photo of the tree from the second floor.

Day 556

Christmas is in the air!!!! This is half of the Hi5 kids choir. The other half is on the other side of the stage. They are learning where their places are and getting ready for the Christmas performance. It is going to be GREAT and the tickets for all 3 shows are nearly sold out! Those are some brave kids though!!! I walked my group up there and got them in their places. Then I started getting woozy and was shaking all over. I had to get off of there. I am just fine in the choir loft which is just too the left in this photo...you can see some of the chairs, but up on this wing---FORGET IT!!!! Hannah has it made!!! She was outside playing and decided to take a break for a few minutes and just chill out.
