Day 916

Here is another old photo. This one is from 2003. Hannah loves this photo and is always carrying it around. She doesn't understand that she is NOT in this photo and will argue with me over it. This was taken Mother's day weekend at Sea World. I was pregnant with Caleb and had just gotten off of 8 weeks bed rest. I didn't exactly ease into unrestricted activity did I? Samantha is the cutie in the stroller. Josh is the little guy. Hard to believe that he is now almost as tall as me!!!!

Day 915

I forgot to take a picture today (11/2), so I found an old photo to scan. These are 2 of my senior photos.

Day 906

No photo today, so another somewhat oldie. This is Caleb on his 3rd birthday! Why is he not wearing any clothes??? I don't know! I think it was because his skin was very irritated. Hard to believe he was that small. Then again...I can't believe how THICK that boy has always been! Time flies! Hannah is older than that now.

Day 836

I forgot again!!! I found another oldie that makes me laugh! This is a sequence set, so look at each picture. This is Samantha in June 2004. She found a lizard and decides she wants to play with it!

Day 835

I forgot....didn't have time....or just didn't think about taking a picture today (Wednesday 8/25). Here is the oldie I found. It is from March 2004. Look at how little Josh and Samantha were!!!! That was way back when parenting was easy!!!!!

Day 826

One last day in a row of me forgetting to take a picture...how did I manage to keep this up for over two years? I know some of you are dying to know what my brother looked like as a baby...ok, probably not. I am going to assume this picture was taken in early 1980, but it could have been late 1979. That would make me 3 and Donnie under 1. My kids disagree with me, but this photo is ME and Donnie! That is about all I remember of this picture. Actually, I think my mom was behind me with her hand under the carpet thing holding Donnie's head up. Weren't we cute???? LOL

Day 825

Here is another old photo because I forgot...again! This photo is from 1992. I was in choir and every year we took a trip. This year we took a cruise to the Bahamas...I know, I had a tortured childhood! These trips were some of the best times of my life. I look back on each one with fond memories. Even the trip when I came home with both legs totally bruised/purple and could hardly walk. This trip was just amazing! There really are no words to describe it all. Anyway, this photo is of some of the sponsors. I have one with all of them somewhere, but don't know where. This is Mrs. McKemie, the drill team coach (I don't remember her name), Mrs. Chrenshaw, and Mrs. Neighbors. The last two made a wonderful and lasting impact on my life and I am forever thankful!

Day 824

I don't have a picture for today...Saturday, August 14. So, here is an oldie. This one goes way back to April 2004. Some of my friends might remember this incident...I know the pecan tree right next to the mower does. On a side note that pecan tree got its revenge this week. It nearly took off Marc's leg as he tried to mow around it. Anyway, this was the Saturday before Easter. The yard really needed to be mowed. I am sitting there mowing along my merry way when the mower starts smoking. At first I thought nothing of it. Marc had recently put oil in and I figured he put to much. It was not uncommon for him to do that. Then I looked down between my legs and saw flames. You have no idea how fast I jumped off that thing. Given the FULL tank of gas, it went up pretty fast. So what do you do when your mower catches on fire in your yard? We debated (my mom and I) and we called 911. The dispatcher told the firemen that it was a vehicle fire instead of a tractor, so the WHOLE volunteer department showed up. That included 2 fire trucks along with all of the other volunteers in their own vehicles. No lie...we had over 10 firemen there....for a lawnmower! I am still known among the volunteer fire department as the lawnmower lady.

Day 815

I forgot my picture again, so I dug up another oldie. This is from New Year's Eve 1997. This photo is of my brother acting out The Great Cornholio from a certain MTV show that was popular back then. Ok, I am still cracking up laughing over this!!! My brother sounded EXACTLY like this character!

Day 814

I do NOT have a picture for this day. Instead of blogging about the boring little details of my day, I decided to find an old picture. I think now when I forget to take a picture I will find an old picture and tell about it. It could be an old family photo or an old school photo. I am not sure how much I can tell about this picture! This is my cousin Bridgette and my cousin Bobby. It looks like they are at a party. This looks like the first house I lived in as a child. Judging from Bridgette's pretty dress, it is probably summer. Maybe it is a birthday party for me. Honestly though, I have NO idea! If anyone has any insight or details about this photo, please feel free to fill me in!!!!
