This afternoon was moving day...kind of. Unfortunately not to a bigger house...yet! I have been unhappy with our living room. The problem is it is too small and has too much stuff crammed in--couch, love seat, coffee table, end table, humongous tv, the cabinet surrounding the tv (it is too big), computer desk, bookcase, a box of Hannah's toys, file cabinet, piano, exercise bike...really!) There are only so many ways you can arrange it. Because of the computer (old pc) the computer always had to be next to the tv. The DSL box was hooked to the computer, HD direct tv box, and the blue ray DVD player. Well, that all changed when we got the Mac...it doesn't need to be wired. I have thought and thought about this! 6 people in a 1500 sq ft house is crazy! We are always tripping over stuff and just one or two things out of place makes it seem like a huge mess. So far I am liking our new arrangement...at least better than the old one. The love seat changed walls. The computer is on the total opposite side as the tv...PRAISE THE LORD I do not have to have the tv blaring in my ear anymore!!!! The piano also moved. Now the bike has a place to be tucked away instead of in the middle of the floor being bumped into. Now come Christmas I might have a problem...do we really need a tree anyway??? LOL I am thinking the bike might have to go....it is not mine though. :/ Sad to say I do not have before and after pics. I am sure you have seen my living room in these photos before and you will see it again. I only took this pic when I picked up the camera to move the thing it was sitting on. Josh and Samantha were trying to move the end table. He initially thought he could easily do it because I "made it look so easy" LOL, but it turned out to be a 2 kid job.
This one just cracked me up! Hannah put on the Wii guitar and started singing the Matthew West song "The Motions" ---too cute!
