Day 917

Josh from December 2000!

Day 916

Here is another old photo. This one is from 2003. Hannah loves this photo and is always carrying it around. She doesn't understand that she is NOT in this photo and will argue with me over it. This was taken Mother's day weekend at Sea World. I was pregnant with Caleb and had just gotten off of 8 weeks bed rest. I didn't exactly ease into unrestricted activity did I? Samantha is the cutie in the stroller. Josh is the little guy. Hard to believe that he is now almost as tall as me!!!!

Day 913

Happy Halloween! Josh was Elvis. Caleb was a Ghostbuster. Samantha was a schoolgirl witch. Hannah was Sleeping Beauty. We went over to dad and Janie's this year. The kids always LOVE going there for Halloween. We all went around their street. Then Hannah and I went back to the house, while Marc took the big kids all over the neighborhood. They came back with tons of candy. I was surprised, because they came back with BIG candy bars...a lot of them. They had a blast!

I threw together a doctor outfit from things I had around the house.

Day 908

October 26 and my family is swimming! Sure they are crazy, BUT the water was not cold! It has been that hot!

Day 904

I did not have a picture from this day. What did I do? My mom and Donnie came over. Donnie drove Samantha to her piano lesson. Mom stayed with Caleb and Hannah. I took Josh to church for a 6th grade retreat. Then I stayed at church to record the Christmas cd.

Since I don't have a picture, I found and OLD picture. Can you guess this kid? This photo is from the fall of 2004. Josh is so little here! It is hard to believe that this is Josh!

Day 899

Day 2 at the family reunion-
There will be more photos and a story in the other blog later. If you read about the stripe photo challenge already, I want you to notice the amount of striped shirts at the family reunion...from BOTH days. It really is funny! The pictures from the Falls on the Brazos will also be in the other blog later.

This is my brother Donnie
Caleb spent a lot of time riding this bike.
We spent a lot of time playing football too.
Carson had fun with the chalk.
I was worried about Samantha's hair getting caught in the wheels...among other things.
Baby girl LOVES to swing!
The teenagers spent a lot of time hanging out in and around the tree.
I have NO idea what was so funny!
I don't know how this girl can get so dirty!
Donnie and James
A group of people...I don't know all of them.
I like this photo of Jackson
She was trying to hide from the camera.

Samantha won some silly string AND a snuggie in the drawing. She was happy...can you tell?
Hannah won the princess set. She was beyond thrilled!

Day 898

Day 1 at the family reunion-

We arrived around the same time we do every year. I was surprised to see that so many people were there already. Usually people show up throughout the day, but everyone was here BEFORE lunch!

Uncle JC got in about 30 seconds of snuggle time with Hannah. I love Uncle JC!

Samantha wasted no time leaving her mark in chalk!
She hasn't figured out the art of eating and driving yet.
He is the big guy-HA! There are some teenage girls that are a few years older than him. Then there is Josh out there all alone. There are a TON of kids younger than him though.
I was originally going to use this photo for The Stripe Challenge, but decided against it. You should check out the stripe challenge. As for the ball...I spent hours over the course of 2 days pitching to kids. It was fun. One of the bigger kids quit after hitting a line drive at my head. I quickly hit the ground to avoid the ball, and he felt bad. It was ok though. I used the squishy ball for the big kids just for that reason! The little kids got to hit the REAL balls.
Marc chilling at Uncle Buster's watching some sort of sport on tv. I don't remember if it was baseball or football.
This was Caleb trying to tell the kids how to play ball. I remember him saying quite a few times, "I play baseball, just listen to me and do what I tell you to."
I thought this was kind of cool, but I don't see these often. This was across the street from the grounds where we were. While driving later we came across a tractor on steroids! We were on a narrow country road blindly following the GPS to get food. We see this thing coming at us, it is obviously a WIDE LOAD. For the life of us we couldn't figure out what it was. Once it got closer we were just dumbstruck! It was a tractor that took up a lane and a half of this little road. It had all of its blades up, so it had a blade mohawk. It was a sight! I wish I would have gotten a picture, but I was driving.
I took this because her eyes are just so beautiful! I was far away, so she didn't know I was taking her picture. She was watching something. I think the boys were playing football and she was upset because she wanted to play soccer.

Day 889

Thursday's are soccer practice days for Samantha. I spent most of the practice playing catch with Caleb. Josh found some people to play football with. As you can see, he didn't catch the ball this time!

Day 886

Today was another birthday celebration for Caleb, BUT I just had to include this picture of Hannah. That is a new shirt that I got for about $2 at Children's Place. I love it...Samantha isn't very fond of it though! It says, "Blame it on my SISTER (I'm innocent)."
Tonight we had dinner with Grandpa and Mimi at Cafe Adobe for Caleb's birthday...Part 3!  Caleb LOVES the cheese, and since I rarely let him eat any, he ate too much!

They got Caleb a new baseball glove! He really loves it! I will be spending the next soccer practice helping him break it in. (In case that doesn't make sense to you...Samantha has soccer practice. During practice Caleb and I play baseball, while Josh and I play football. Yes, I am a tired mom when it is over!)
If you remember from Part 1 or Part 2, Caleb doesn't like us singing Happy Birthday. This photo is his reaction at dinner tonight! I LOVE It!
AND just so it doesn't look like the blog is all about Caleb...here is a photo of my beautiful Samantha!
and Hannah
and Mister Josh, who kept hiding behind Marc, so I wouldn't take his picture.

Day 879

Marc had a rare half-day at work. He got home around 5. The kids were thrilled and scrambled to finish up homework and chores. One of them said, "it is such a beautiful day. We have to ride bikes! Come on daddy!" So, they rode bikes. I had to hurry and get dinner in the oven, so I could go out and watch Hannah. They rode around a little, then they took off around the neighborhood and left Hannah in their dust. Here are some photos from their fun! Obviously, I have more of Hannah since she stayed back with me while the others rode all over. I am also aware of Hannah's bad hair day! She wanted her helmet on so she could ride. She didn't care about her hair and wouldn't let me fix it!
