Day 589
The kids finally got to see Santa...WITHOUT the traffic, crowds and lines at the mall! Our chiropractor had Santa in his office today! I had some happy kids....and one not so happy kid. :) It is amazing how much Caleb and Samantha look alike in this...despite straight/curly hair and bright blue/dark brown eyes.

OMG!!! It was one of those days! My mom still had some shopping to do and the kids still needed to get things for each other. We decided to meet at Target. We got our shopping done there then headed to the mall. We decided it made more sense to take one car...good thing since it took a year to find a parking spot. After the mall we went to HEB to pick up a few last minute baking items. Then we headed home...talked about how we were going to tackle getting the meatloaf and mashed potatoes cooked since it was already nearly 5:00 pm. We got within 1 mile of my house and guess what??? My mom's car was still at Target!!! LOL We turned around to go get it and knew it was impossible to get dinner on the table at a reasonable time, so we headed over to Freebirds. Check out my beautiful girls :)
Day 585
Due to the LONG week last week, momma got sick. I made sure the kids took lots of vitamins and ate really healthy, but I neglected myself. Isn't that what we mom's usually do??? Anyway, I don't remember what I was doing...probably picking up last minute Christmas gifts before the kids were home for vacation. Anyway, Hannah's morning Starbucks run turned into an afternoon run. I had to go inside because I could not talk and KNEW I wouldn't be understood in the drive thru. Well, Miss Hannah here wanted to sit inside to enjoy her juice! LOL So we sat and she got to relax while she had her juice.

I had TWO parties today! Samantha had her Christmas party at school. She was so happy I got to come!
We also had our Gathering/11am Musicians Christmas party. We got to go caroling...lots of fun! This is a photo of two of my good buddies---Jana and Margaret.

Here are Samantha and I dressed and in full make-up before performance 1 on Saturday.
Cast dinner.....we got to break bread with Jesus!!!! (by the expressions on the faces of the men on both sides of Jesus, you can't begin to imagine how funny this really was...he went into the whole last supper)

Tonight was dress rehearsal for "Celebration." Josh and Samantha looked so great dressed and ready to sing.

"Celebration" full cast rehearsal was tonight! Since I am late updating and "Celebration" has come and gone, I am not spoiling anything!!!! During one of our songs Santa comes down from the balcony in a sleigh. You can see the sleigh hovering just a little in this picture, but it is NOT Santa! Pastor Gregg is sitting in the sleigh! LOL Too funny!
Day 576
Us girls had a dentist appointment today. Hannah did great! It was not her first check up...the first consisted of her sitting in the chair and screaming while the dentist did a quick look and see. Today she got up in the chair and sat like such a big girl. She had her teeth cleaned and polished AND let the dentist look. She didn't go for the x-rays, but I am so proud of my big baby girl!

Today Caleb gets to sing in all 3 church services. My photos from the morning service didn't turn out. The camera and I were not agreeing. The photos from the evening service did come out, but you can sure tell how tired those kids were.

Day 572
Today it snowed! Yes, it really did! Two years in a row we had snow! You may remember me blogging about it HERE and HERE. This year it was different because Hannah kind of understood. She saw a few tiny flakes while we were driving and made me drive all the way home with her window down. LOL She waited and waited all day for some snow. We finally got some around 2:00 in the afternoon. I didn't rush to pick up the kids because I figured they would get to see it...poor Josh's school didn't allow the kids to go out. If I had known that I would have picked him up. That is why Josh is not in these pictures. :(

What was I thinking????? You would think that after last year's fiasco I would have learned my lesson. Nope, I didn't and you will probably see a post similar to this next year. I made yet another attempt to get the perfect picture of all 4 kids for Christmas cards. Let's just say the best shot of all 4 by the tree had a head chopped off and replaced with another. LOL Hannah just doesn't want to be any part of a group picture. Really, she loves photos, but sees the group time as a time to dance, sing, run around, and play ring- a-round- the roses. Here are some of the photos from my attempt this year...no cool montage set to music like last year.
