Day 782

After many years of me not allowing any kind of parties at the house, Marc talked me into a July 4th party. I won't go into the main reasons, but things always seemed to get a little out of hand. Marc invited 3 friends from work and their families. It was actually a very nice evening! We grilled hot dogs and hamburgers. The kids swam and we did fireworks.

In this picture Marc's friend is lighting something. I am thinking it was a tank....

I kept trying to get a picture of Caleb and another little boy running like mad with their sparklers....this was the best I could get. Caleb in motion. In reality it is probably a perfect Caleb shot because he is always in motion!
Here is a partial group shot...it was another attempt at Caleb. He can be seen way in the background running around.
The kids! Hannah was sleeping. She was in a mood and announced early on she wanted to go to bed. She did!
The boys and sparklers.
He doesn't look like he is having any fun...does he?

Day 781

This photo is NOT upside down! It is foggy because of the coldness of my house combined with the hot humidity of outside. I just couldn't get a clear pic! This was a rainbow way up in the middle of the sky. It looked like it was nearly a circle...very cool! If you click to enlarge it you will see an airplane right above the rainbow.

Day 780

The final day of VBS-
Today we were supposed to dress western. When I say we, I mean the children's division. Caleb and Hannah are still in the preschool division. We had cowboy hats on. Hannah decided she wanted a hat too, so she put on Marc's New England Patriots santa hat. I sure do LOVE that girl!!!
Every morning during Opening Assembly kids were picked to help do the Pledge to the American flag, Pledge to the Christian flag, and Pledge to the Bible. The helper picked Samantha to do the American Flag...he didn't know she was mine. LOL She also got to come on stage and help lead a few songs. I am sad this is such a bad picture, but I was standing on stage behind her and didn't think it would be appropriate to try and get a great picture.
Do you remember me mentioning rain? It is STILL raining! By the time this particular downpour stopped the water was to the grill.

Day 779

Day 4 of VBS-
This is one day I do not have a photo for. It wasn't because we didn't have anything going on though. It was a rainy day...actually it poured ALL week. We picked up Samantha's friend on the way to church to go to VBS with us. Caleb has a crush, so the drive in was not fun. He was so obnoxious! I had fun in the music rotation. Hannah insisted on wearing a dress to church. It was just another fun summer day! After church we went to music lessons. Josh's teacher was late, so we ended up sitting for about 1.5 hours at the music place.

Day 778

Day 3 of VBS--Josh got picked for a game during closing assembly. He is on the far right with a neon green shirt, cowboy hat, and crazy socks. For the record....it was crazy sock day!

Day 777

Day 2 of VBS! This happened to be the only picture I took today....sorry. You can read more about VBS HERE. I was helping with the music rotation...so fun! That boot in the photo is mine. It is a pre-kid boot. They are Justin's...don't know if those are still popular or not, but I used to LOVE them and had to save up forever to buy these boots.

Day 776

What is up with this photo??? Shorts, boots, and a cowboy hat..... It could ONLY be for Vacation Bible School--VBS! This year our theme was Saddle Ridge Ranch. It was so fun to do!

Day 775

Today was a Sunday. Hannah was very determined to pick out her clothes. She got her dress on and she made sure we did not forget her "big socks"--(tights) today! She just LOVES dressing up. Sunday night after Marc came home, we played a family game of Pictionary. It was Marc and Samantha against me and the boys....we won. LOL

Day 774

Donnie and mom came over. Donnie was excited about our new pool purchase. He got in with the kids and tossed them around some.

Day 773

Can't believe I let almost a whole month go by without updating! Cause you know we are not busy or anything. I believe I took this picture to be able to remember Caleb just sitting quietly....the kids have since lost all use of electronics, so this is a distant memory.
